Have your say – 20mph limit Oldbury Lane/Spring Lane

Following concerns raised by residents, lghtham Parish Council and Kent County Council’s (KCC) Highways Improvements Team have been reviewing the speed limit on Oldbury Lane and Spring Lane and would like to reduce the current national speed limit to 20mph. We do not think that national speed limit outside a school and nursery where there are no pavements is acceptable. Therefore, we are proposing to introduce a 20mph limit from Oldbury Lane junction with the A25 to Spring Lane junction with the A25, including Cobbs Close and Oldbury Close, as shown on the enclosed map.
