TMBC: Waste Services during the COVID-19 outbreak

The current COVID-19 outbreak has resulted in reduced staffing levels for our contractor. In order to prioritise resources for the core refuse, food waste, recycling and clinical waste collections, the following services are suspended with immediate effect and until further notice:

Garden waste collections – We will extend your current subscription to cover the period that we are unable to offer the service due to the current situation. Please do not put your brown bins out for collection.

New Garden Waste Subscriptions – We  are not currently taking any new orders , which includes ordering additional bins, until further notice. If you have already placed an order and paid the subscription fee, you will receive your bin. Your subscription will not start until collections resume.

Bulky waste collections – We will carry out bookings that have already been made, but no more bookings can be taken.

Saturday bulky freighter service – The service has been suspended until further notice.

Please continue to put your other bins & boxes out on your scheduled collection day. If further changes to the service are made necessary, we will continue to post updates on our website.
