Shipbourne Farmers’ Market are operating on a collection only basis. They are now asking for orders by Tuesday lunchtime to be sure. See the links from the Shipbourne Farmers Market Facebook page.
The Hutch Deli, Ightham A25 village lay by. Currently in stock:
- A limited supply of hand sanitiser but you need to bring your own bottle or suitable container.
- Potatoes; pasta; rice; cheese. Specific items can possibly be sourced.
- Daily deliveries of fresh fruit and veg, but not on Sunday.
Winterdale Cheese, Wrotham offer a delivery service primarily for the elderly/vulnerable but contact them direct for confirmation and details. It is desperately important to support the farm at this point. They are open weekdays 09.00 -12.00 and Saturday 10.00-16.00. They have the following cheeses available. Spadeworks, Offham are reported as having a good selection of produce plus some local milk. They’re also a charity so a good cause to support.

Albion Home Food: a wholesaler in Tonbridge that normally supplies restaurants, so they have lots of food they can’t get rid of. They have started delivering to domestic customers, see their facebook page for more information. They say they will deliver within 48 hours.

Medical assistance/information: For those of you that may not be aware, Borough Green Medical Practice has now closed. You can still call them to arrange a telephone consultation. They are only processing prescriptions with less than 7 days medications left. They need 3 working days to process requests.
Lloyds Pharmacy, Borough Green all prescription medicine is now being delivered to all patients of the Medical Practice who are aged 60 years & over. Currently this medication cannot be collected from the pharmacy. As soon as dispensed, the medication is put into a box for the team of volunteers to deliver. At the moment deliveries usually start mid-morning & again mid-afternoon.
Pharmacy2U website – This site is an NHS service which will arrange for medication to be delivered to you.
FYI: We have a doctor that lives at 49 Nutfields, she is happy to help if anyone needs her.
