The Bull, Wrotham

The Bull are now offering a takeaway menu so that you can enjoy the Bull’s great food, but at home. Order on 01732 789 800, Monday to Saturday 12 noon to 9pm.

Home Deliveries:

Shipbourne Farmers’ Market are currently offering a pick-up service on Thursday morning. Orders must be placed by Wednesday midday. Visit their website for full details: They are also offering a free delivery service which is currently being enhanced but for the present send an email to the stallholder with an order and they can come and pick up or if in isolation or over 70 to contact Shipbourne Parish Clerk (and she is organising deliveries). The Hutch Deli, Ightham A25 village lay by. Currently in stock:

  • A limited supply of hand sanitiser but you need to bring your own bottle or suitable container.
  • Potatoes, pasta, rice, cheese. Specific items can possibly be sourced.
  • Daily deliveries of fresh fruit and veg, but no on Sunday.
  • Only one person in the shop at a time.

Winterdale Cheese, Wrotham offer a delivery service primarily for the elderly/vulnerable but contact them direct for confirmation and details. They have the following cheeses available. To order E: or M: 07779 802926.

  • Winterdale Oak Smoked
  • Wigmore (ewes Brie-style)
  • Goats cheese
  • Stichelton (blue)
  • Tunworth (Camembert-style)

    (*) Winterdale are still waiting for their order for more bottles to arrive, so you’d need to provide your own bottles.

Spadeworks, Offham are reported as having a good selection of produce plus some local milk. They’re also a charity so a good cause to support.

Medical assistance/information: For those of you that may not be aware, Borough Green Medical Practice has now closed. You can still call them to arrange a telephone consultation. They are only processing prescriptions with less than 7 days medications left. They need 3 working days to process requests.

Lloyds Pharmacy, Borough Green all prescription medicine is now being delivered to all patients of the Medical Practice who are aged 60 years & over. Currently this medication cannot be collected from the pharmacy. As soon as dispensed, the medication is put into a box for the team of volunteers to deliver. At the moment deliveries usually
start mid-morning & again mid-afternoon.

FYI: We have a doctor that lives at 49 Nutfields, she is happy to help if anyone needs her.
