As you will be aware the Government has granted permission for the re-opening of swimming pools, gyms and other leisure facilities and I am delighted, after four long months, to be welcoming you back to our facilities.
On Monday 15 June at 10am, Ightham Mote will be re-opening the garden and car park only, via a bookings only system. We are operating with skeleton staff and welcoming a minimal numbers of visitors at this stage (initially 30% of an average busy day with scheduled entry, to facilitate social distancing).
As the 700th anniversary of Ightham Mote approaches, the National Trust have been working hard on some exciting new plans to take this special place well into the future.
We are please to announce that Ightham at the Crossroads, by Jean Stirk and David Williams, (Ightham Parish Council) has won the Alan Ball Award 2016 for a hard copy Local History publication.
