As you may be aware, the roll out of the new recycling collection services, whilst in the main is working well, has resulted in some delays in collections taking place. Whilst this is to be expected with such a large scale implementation project and additional resources have been deployed throughout this week, our contractor is going to be working over the weekend in order to progress the completion of this week’s kerbside collections. As such they will be utilising the drivers & vehicles that would normally be used to deliver the Saturday Freighter Service for bulky items of waste that would otherwise be taken to a Household Waste Recycling Centre. As a result, the Saturday Service will not be in operation for Saturday 19 October.
